Here I am again asking the mini experts for advice. My car seems to have a rough idle and sometimes revs high and takes too long (in my opinion) to shift to the next gear. I sometimes paddle shift it cause I feel like its straining. It has a automatic transmission. I was always a "follow the speed" limit kind of girl, and now I want to race around, but the shifting varies so much . Meaning its not like it does it when its cold...or after a while....its random. Weird. Do you think my transmission is going? It does have 78,000 miles. I read somewhere about readapting the transmission. Any thoughts?
It has a JCW tuning kit. AND I was used to driving a FJ Cruiser, which is obviously very different. I want to love my mini but its not cooperating
