weird bump?

I noticed in my 04 r53 S, that when in second gear slowing down to about around 2200 rpms i get a bump in the drivetrain. is this normal?

I have a 2004 S and I experience the same. What gives? I'm new to the Mini world. Can someone tell me what this is?
