Sprintbooster R53

Greetings,
so i have been clean of the mod bug for about a month now, but today ive fallen prey to it again.
i read a lot of threads about sprintbooster on various forums and there seems to be mixed reviews. up until now, getting one plus shipping to south africa was expensive business as no retailers stock this product here. today a great deal came up from germany that i might not get again. my goal is not to start a debate but simply to ask the guys who are running sprintbooster, how is it holding up? does it still feel the same as the first day you got it? or do you get used to it and it feels normal? ok my goal is simply to make the car feel more zippy and more alive. its my daily driver so there wont be too many performance mods going on it (i hope) . im not so concerned with performance since i dont track the car etc, but I might just software tune it a bit.
also, do you need to connect the selector module (the part with the light) to the power socket (lighter) ? i ask this because mine is toast
Thank you!

I have been running mine for 2 years. No issues, feels the same and getting used to it was easy. I would never run my MINI or any DBW car again. I even had my father istal one on his CTS V coupe. He felt the same way.

Been using one for a long time, forget how long, but it still is fun. The normal mode, SB off, seems way to slow to react.
No, you don't need any external power other than plugging into the gas pedal.
Money well spent.
