Hi i just purchased a pair of Spec-d Black housing headlights, my only issue is i do not want to take/do this project on my own.. regarding all the wiring and the paranoia of me messing up my car. So where could i go to get these headlights installed for me. I called a mini cooper dealership and they said they can't because they aren't factory/stock made. Any suggestions? fort Worth/Dallas Area please and thank you!

 

I think this is a pretty simple install that if you can turn a wrench and screwdriver you will be fine. Check out this video and see if you can handle it. The satisfaction of doing it yourself is priceless IMO.

 

Please try the install yourself! It will take you *maybe* 30 min if you've never opened the bonnet before. You'll feel so proud of yourself after you've done it too

Just like the video. Take out the four bolts, pop off the single electrical plug and reverse the steps to put the new light in. It's really quite hard to mess up the car doing this simple mod. If you're still intent on paying someone else check out your local MINI club. Most of them will have a section of recommended shops. But it would probably be a lot cheaper to post a help ad on craigslist.
