As the title says... I'm trying to find out what downpipe I should go with for my 09' Mini S. I just ordered the Magnaflow catback system and want a good downpipe to go with it. So far I've looked into the Riss Racing, Baravian Autosport, and the Rennenstil. what's your opinion?

 

Akrapovic DP. I was gonna get it til I found out I can't do a stage 2 on my auto MINI. But look some videos on YouTube with people who used the magnaflow.

 

Rob is right the Akrapovic Downpipe is the best. Fits perfect, sounds great, reliable, and great for power.

 

Are there any issues running the Akrapovic DP with a non-Akrapovic exhaust? I have an '08 S, RMW tuned with a Quicksilver exhaust. I realize I'll need to get the re-tuned if I put in the downpipe

 

No you can run the Akrapovic DP with any exhaust that will bolt to the stock downpipe.
