Vanity Plate Decision Help

I have a couple plate ideas they have nothing to do with the car but I thought I would see what people thought. I run a marina and have been on the water all my life and my name is Brett.

I wanted to do CAPTN B but I really like the route 66 plate and I can only do 5 letters on it.

Should I stay with a normal IL plate and do the CAPTN B or some ideas to pick from for the route 66 plate which is really neat looking.

CAP B
CAPTB
CAPNB

Thank you for your help

ok I decided to do the route 66 plate so I have to keep it 5 letters or under and spaces count as a letter. The R 60 is cool and I wanted to do something about the car but then I thought everyone knows what the car is already. So something to do with boats, guns, or the river I would like. I really thought something about guns would be fun but then I worried that it may draw to much attention from people against guns or someone that wanted to break in and take mine.

I never thought about that its a good idea but a lot of people around here already call me Captain Brett being I am always training people how to drive there new boats or taking groups out on there own boat in windy conditions and times they are uncomfortable to drive. So that is why I came up with that.

I like CAPNB...don't know how many people would actually "get it" though.

If you can stick to a 7 character plate, you could get way more creative such as my MTR BOAT plate that I'm transferring from my BMW to my mini when I register it

CPTNB is also an option. I agree about putting what the car is on the vanity plate....it is already obvious what it is so it seems redundant to me. Your reason for wanting it to reflect your Captain B is what vanity plates are about (to me). I'd avoid the gun thing because people can be weird about that (and I'm a chicken baby so I wouldn't want to invite trouble). Good luck...let us know what you pick.

Yes for the R66 plate, no for the gun thing, not a good theme this days with good reason, but it is your car in the end is up to you, on my plate I only have 2 letters, no one gets it but I like the cleaner look.

Today I saw a Missouri license plate with NEW YORK on it, I thought that that was hilarious it really tricked my mind into thinking that it was a New York State plate.... Very creative !!!!!!
What about SAIL

What about your favorite body of water? Or your favorite boat?

If you're already spending extra go for the cool plate, not the plain one.

That is a cool plate with a couple fun meanings but everytime I see the Route 66 plate I really want one. Plus it helps that I live very close to the old route 66 and one of the launching pad drive ins that go along route 66 and plan on taking the Mini to shome car shows in the area once I am done tweeking it

I decided not to go with the gun thing my NRA stickers are bad enough when everyone is out looking to steal a gun.

I do want something to do with Captain Brett and only have the 5 letters or 4 letters and a space between them. Being I have a marina business and live here year round even just around here for my customers it would be fun.

I am pretty sure i voted out CAPTB because atleast CAPNB is like Cap'n Crunch and kind of fun.

So it is down to CAP B or CAPNB on a route 66 plate.

I switch boats so often I dont really want to put a boat on the plate.
But I grew up on the river I was thinking RVR RAT but i could not come up with anything that would work on the 66 plate. Even with the 7 letters its hard to make out.

"CAP B" or "R60 6" on the Route 66 plate will work...

I like "FSHHTR" or "FSHHNTR", but that's 6 & 7 letters (you can put 1/2 spaces inbetween here in CA)

Or you can make them think and go with 5 letters "FSHTR"
