I've got the black version. Not really being a big fan of any kind of rims, I concur.

I almost did the exterior chrome accents on my Roadster thats arriving soon but I passed. I did not want the mirrors done, just the additional accents around the grill and rear bumper. I'll probably try to find them after market.

I really wish MINI would make the chrome mirror caps separate from the chrome package or as an add-on to the package.

I can check my order but I'm fairly sure I got the chrome mirror caps separately.

Right. I just mean that I would like to see the package without the caps.

Big fan of chrome here. Where I grew up, blacking out and murdering were considered bad things.

I bought the 27 piece aftermarket kit (http://www.outmotoring.com/mini-coop..._trim_kit.html). Once my new ride arrives, I'll see if it works for me as well as the OEM would have. I'm kind of thinking I should have ordered the chromeline interior.

We got the chrome line exterior and it really looks nice with the silver of the car. There are some mini's I've seen that are blacked out that I really like, but for our mini - the chrome just went well.

Some cars suit it, others don't

Its down to personal choice

The more MINI's I see, I think chrome suits neutral colors more the brights. Loud colors and chrome can be a little much sometimes.

Mine doesn't have chromeline anything, but the exterior has plenty of chrome as it is. Coopers have a HUGE chrome grille and a chrome slat on the lower grille. I opted for not getting the interior chrome, and the standard titanium trim rings create a nice look to break up all the black.

On my old R56 I had the exterior and interior chrome package but after a while I got very tired of the exterior chrome on the Pepper white/Black, so I swapped out the chrome pieces for black mirror caps and a pepper white boot piece above the license plate. Now on my Black R60 the only chrome piece left are the emblems, the rest is blacked out but I do have the interior chrome pieces.

Some cars look great with chrome and others don't, IMO. I also have one harley in the garage that is chromed and the other is all blacked out, so I do like both. LOL!!

I'm confused. Wasn't the question about whether the Chromeline trim is worth it? This looks like a "blackout" project.
