Just purchased a Mini Hardtop Non S, Here is the link http://youtu.be/SxZse0qF99E to video I did looking for suggestions on making these seats more comfortable. Anyone else have this problem? They are the sports cloth/leatherette seat.
Thanks

Desiree,
What do you find uncomfortable about them? In the video you say the seat back, but need a little more details.
Do these have the adjustable lumbar support? That would be a *** on the side of the seat back in between the two seats. The seat back is also adjustable for leaning back or more upright and the seat bottom is adjustable for height, but because of the way the height adjustment affects the seat it can change how the back feels.

Well I've been trying to guage rather its both the lower seating and the back, I have the turn **** pushed outward so its not pressing into my back. I find its uncomfortable from the middle of my back down to my lower back. No matter which direction I turn the **** its not comfortable. It is worse though if I were to have the center backing pushed inward into the middle of my back. I guess thats the lumbar support? I usually drive with the back pf the seat slightly tilted back and rest my head on the headrest. But not in this car its just awkward, I guess the best way to explain it is my back just doesnt sit flush with the seat. I also cant stretch out my other leg while driving as it makes it more uncomforatble also. So I find myself having to sit upright without using the back at all. I don't have an armrest , I thought adding one would help feel more stable/balanced in the seat. Not sure how else to describe how the seats feel.

It is tough to say whether raising or lowering the seat a little (that is the "pump handle" in the front of the seat bottom) would help. My wife and I both find the seat to be more support/comfortable with the seat bottom lowered. I also drive with the seat back a little more upright instead of leaning it back.
Sorry to hear you are having trouble with your seats. I have the same seats, it turns out, and find them to be very comfortable. The lumbar support can be pushed into your back too far but I found an intermediate position that worked well for me. I also sit with the back quite upright which is different from the way a lot of people sit in a car seat. With slight back problems, I have had to work at making my car seat reasonably comfortable. For me, this seems to work.
