Bluetooth Phone Mic Location?

When using the bluetooth for the cell phone and having the air condition on high the Mic picks up the fan blowing and the person i am talking to cannot hear me, as i turn the fan down the conversation can be heard perfectly clear. How many of you notice this? Where is the Mic on the 2012 S located? Thanks

Above you, near the dome light, pass side. Unless you have a cabrio, then it's on the steering column to the right of the gauge.

My MA actually pointed out to me that the location of the mic is not the best -- only an inch or so from the a/c vent. Not like there are too many places to put it in the cabrio or roadster.

here on NAM there's a thread with instructions for moving the mic to the drivers' side, which seems to help. I don't have the link handy right now but if you can't find it I can post i later.
