Anyone have an all red Mini with black sport or bonnet stripes?

Picked up my new R60 yesterday. They didn't have time to put my stripes on yet. But after looking at the car I realized I should have ordered black roof/mirror. Not sure how the black stripes are going to look on an all red body...and am considering canceling the installation.

I did get 18 inch black rims and the black headlight housings.

If anyone has pics they could post so I could see, it would be most appreciated!!

It should be easy to get the roof wrapped in black if you think it will look better.

What is the option code for the black headlights? That would be a great addition that I do not see when using the online configurator

Just my 2¢, I think you should hold off on wrapping the roof until you've spent some time with your new MINI. Your roof in body color is more unique since a majority are ordered with black roof. I would think about getting the black sport stripe package that incudes the bonnet, boot, roof, and side stripes. We have a cosmic blue roof in body color with this package in white and it really looks good. If you have the dual panel roof you may want to forego the roof stripes...sorry I couldn't find a pure red like yours.

 

Thanks for your 2 cents. I appreciate it. I ordered without the black roof/mirrors for exactly that reason - more unique. My first Mini was all body color as well. Most that I see have the black or white roof/mirrors and I wanted to be unique. But after actually seeing the car in person...I was obviously wavering.

I do have the panoramic sunroof and didn't intend to get the roof stripes. The roof wrap probably won't happen...I'm not that brave.

Thanks, Chrunck! Those are perfect and totally make me feel much better about my all body color decision.

I hope I can find a quality wrapper or painter to black out all my exterior chrome like that first one pictured.
