Dumb question, but...

I haven't figured out what this icon means, despite searching the R55 owner's manual. There is no "alert" on the speedo, just this as I scroll through the settings.

So, gently, what does this mean? (I don't think that it means I'm listening to the Grateful Dead Channel on Sirius XM, even though that happens).

 

Are you referring to the light bulb next to the speedo illustration?

 

If you're thinking of the clock icon in the display, that's average speed. The icon isn't actually in the manual, but the computer operation is, it lists all the displays in order under "Computer".

 

OK, so the little 'open circle' with what looks like a lightning bolt stands for 'Average Speed'? Thanks!

It just looks so ominous, I feared the worse.

 

This came up on my new-to-me 2012 MCS on the drive home from the dealership.

Grateful Dead logo is exactly what I thought when I looked at it. Quite happy to find out this is nothing to worry about!

 

I think that icon is supposed to mimic the speedometer..

 

Yea it's average speed.

 

If you look back far enough you'll find some other cool icons
