Yeah, my question was (and I dont have kids, so bear with me...) how long until the little midget (angel, precious, dearest baby, etc) is able to fit in a forward facing seat?

Or get a different car seat and keep the car?

You are more than welcome!! I ordered Molly as well and have a "sticker" laminated up in the attic with all of her other OEM gimmies that I don't use, this includes a long list of OEM parts and such that have been taken off and mods. have been added!! The only thing I've failed to retain was her Rear Sway Bar and Endlinks that were upgraded a couple of weekends ago.

Hi Merlot!
Does it fit rear facing? Although I'm pretty sure my huge Graco Trekko stroller won't fit in my Mini's trunk. The car seat I'm using is rear facing up to 65 lbs...

I assume by the name, the Chicco only goes to 30lbs rear facing? My son is already at 23 lbs at only 8 months.

My son is 8 months. Right now the law is rear facing for 2 years, but I've heard they'll probably extend it even longer in the next year or two.

I bought what's supposed to be one of the best car seats and that he will be able to use for the duration...until he's 65 lbs. LOVE my Mini, but can't mess with my kid's safety!

Second putting the original wheels back on. Aftermarket wheels are more polarizing than stock - some may not like your choice. Many/most people would also prefer to buy an unmodified, original car - aftermarket wheels suggest the possibility that other customization may have been done.

Lose the Staind sticker. Suggests the car is owned by a kid. Plus some (myself included) would be turned off by the fact that there's a sticker on the paint.

Where I'm at, $16k would be too high. Dealer listed the 2010 Cooper I traded in back in January 2011 for under $18k, for a car at least as well optioned as the one you're listing plus lower miles and most of the warranty remaining (it was only 8 months old). Not sure how pricing differs in your area.

On the other hand, their asking price on the sale of the car was less than I got in trade on it. Their first offer was a low-ball as well, but with a little work they came up on it (too high, apparently). If you didn't try to negotiate the trade in offer, you might consider doing so - and if that dealer won't negotiate, try another. You might be able to get enough on the trade in to make selling it privately not worth the hassle.

Are you looking at the Radian's? We have one but no MINI yet. I know the Orbit toddler seat fits rear facing. I've been wanting to try our Radian RXT rearfacing with the angle adjuster. I have a friend with a MINI, I could try it in his.

The Radian's have the highest rear-facing weight limits as well as forward facing limits. The Orbit is pretty cool since there is a base that the toddler seat rotates on, making it easier to get in and out, although with a two door that might make it interesting. Good luck selling or finding a seat! We are planning to buy a MINI in the next month or so and have a 2.5 year old and hopefully another baby in the next year or two. It'll be cozy, but I can't wait to get my MINI!

I just reviewed your ad and and pictures of the car. First, I would not worry about the tint. If you do have the original wheels, mention that you have the original wheels and they will be included with the car. Some people would like to have an extra set of wheels to mount winter tires on.

I see that your are in the Mid west - not sure what area but list it on any Mini club web sites.

Personally, I love the color and the car looks great.

Good luck.

FedExKinkos will laminate it, or give you the supplies and you can do it right there in the store. May not be something you want to spend the money on now, but think about it for your next car.

Hi, SODA66 ~ THANKS! I figured the right person would like the tint. And it looks like I will be meeting that person Friday. Fingers crossed!

Thanks for the suggestions.

Thank you RJKimbell! I hadn't heard of this site.

And I like the lamination of the window sticker idea!

It's SOLD!!

Again thank you all for your feedback, comments, suggestions in changing my ad! My Mini just rolled out of my driveway 15 minutes ago.

And now I get to order my CM!

I'm a little sad though because I LOVED that car, but looking forward to my new adventure with the CM. The new owner said I should visit though and I might actually do that! They live 4 hours away.

Thank you!

Order a new CM? Have you considered having your dealer do a search for a new 2012? It should save you a grand, so long as they can find one to meet your needs. Just a thought.

I hadn't, but I'm doubting they'd find one exactly the way I want it. My last one I ordered, but I was too cheap to get EVERYTHING I want it on it and I regretted it. So this time around I'm making sure to order it exactly the way I want it.
