I know not many if not any are not too familiar with the Akrapovic exhaust so I thought I'd share this picture. Just had it installed today and I love love love the deep exhaust note that it gives with the full turbo back system installed. No CEL (yet), but I'm not too worried about that.

SEXY, I love the Carbon Tips, you have to be careful not to drop them because they are so light. I may ask you to use that pic on my website. We've sold a few of the Akrapovic Exhausts and most people have been getting the Carbon.
Whoa. Those tips look very cool. Do you have a video of the sound?! (On your MINI). I saw some on YouTube

Yes. I had this conversation with Way back in the winter of 2012 just before I bought the exhaust. You can get the Titanium of CF tips. They are quite expensive though... like $600 or so.

Holy crap!!!! I can buy a full exhaust for that. WoW. But those cf tips are sexy!!!!
For the price they rape you at for their system there better not be a CEL. If there is I would return that and get an AP, a catless dp, and a catless exhaust.

There is a CEL but I wouldn't return it. Most if not all DP on the R56 Mini throw a cell with catless downpipes. Just get an AP and clear it up.
