Coilovers on a r53 issues and questions

First off I have megan racing 32 way coilovers. They have -2.0 camber in front and 0 in rear

First question is. I autocross the mini about 3 times a month. I'm clueless on how to adjust the dampening. Where should I set them front and rear and what do I look for to know I need to change either side.

Second. I have been hearing noise coming from front wheels. Normally I hear it when I first get in car and when I'm turning the wheel. The sound is like stretching a spring out then like popping sound. Like bum bum bummmmm

Any Help would be great

I would first check to see if you have proper clearance on the springs. There is a drain channel on the drivers side that can rub on your springs and make that type of noise.

Actually it's more of a poing poing poing sound. Do you have or know wjere I can get a photo of this part your talking about. So I know where to kinda look. I already had one issue with my race tires rubbing on the perch nut. But I put a 5mm spacer on the fronts.

Probably need to pound in some of the sheet metal inside of the springs. 2.0 degrees of camber can put the springs too close.

Jack your car up and remove the driver side front wheel. Inspect the inside fender liner up toward the top. You will see the drain channel that we are refering to. It is a fairly common practice to masage that channel with a hammer to get you the necessary clearance. You will be able to see if that is the area that is rubbing.
