Two Mini's are better than one right. If you feel like you want the JCW and it's worth the extra to you I would go that route. I had a clubman S and when I traded it in I went with the factory JCW. I ended up getting mine new at the same price as an S with the options it had and the discount I wrangled. I have always been glad that I went with the JCW. It really has a kick and I enjoy that car daily.

My 100lb+ Great Dane rides in the back of my OB MINI all the time! :D

As far as owning 2 MINIs? Yes, absolutely, I would. Honestly, unless you need BOTH back seats, a MINI is more practical than most sedans, IMO. I've transported things in the back of my little R56 that my parents' Camry could never carry... Most sedans are bigger, but with trunks, just don't make good use of their interior space, whether because it's weird shaped or because neither the trunk nor door openings are big enough to accept your cargo.

Plus, just the gas savings compared to a bigger sedan, minivan or truck would pay for numerous rentals. Plus, why drive something boring ALL YEAR just so you can move a dresser once a year or whatever?

I might. It really depends on what kinda deal I get. Worst case, I end up with another Focus and will try to snag a used Maserati Coupe Cambiocorsa.

Ordered my wife's MCS Cabrio Chili Red at the end of December, got it about a month ago. Loved it so much I ordered my Countryman about 10 days ago. Just found out it finished production today. Hopefully 4 short weeks from now it will be in my driveway!

We're about to be an all MINI family and I can't wait. My wife has had an 06 Justa she bought new and I'm taking delivery of a Coupe S in a few days. Believe it or not the plan is for my Coupe to be the new "Family Car" that we'll take out to eat, road trips, etc.

It's rarely more than the two of us, no kids, and 2 dogs that weigh ~20lbs each. I know it won't work for everyone but it works great for us. When it's time for her next car there's a chance she might get a Countryman if we feel we need the space. She's gotten spoiled by MINI's performance and it's doubtful we'll get any other car for a while...

Two consecutively, yes. Two concurrently, no. Unless one was a classic Mini. The wife is looking for a new car, and we've already nixed the Countryman due to not enough boot space. I personally would not own two of the same car at the same time. So she is looking at the BMW 535 Gran Tourismo. I'm not even certain the GT has more capacity than the CM, but it's her money and choice. As long as it has a warranty and I don't have to work on it, I don't care. I looked at replacing my R50, and couldn't find a car I'd like more, for money I want to spend. So I'm keeping it - probably for a good long time.

No, I would not own two MINI's at the same time. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE my '02 MCS and plan to keep it a long time. I drive my MCS as a DD and after over two years of ownership I still look forward to driving it, even take it to Watkins Glen once in a while for a little track time. If I had a second one what would be the thrill or difference. My other vehicles offer different driving experiences and/or uses. My wife's DD is a Buick Enclave, GREAT reliable vehicle, smooth, quiet ride and comfort for 7 passengers, and I can also tow my boat and cars with it. Then I have a '36 Chevy Coupe Streetrod, corners like crap compared to my MCS, but it has the cubic inches and brute force the MINI will never have. Again, a completely different driving experience. For cruising around town it is an absolute blast. There is a lot of discussion among MINI enthusiasts about getting a lot of attention with their cars, while I've experienced the same thing, it nothing to the reactions I get while driving my Chevy. BTW I would not own two streetrods either.
So;
MCS - zippy little car that handles like a go-kart.
Streetrod - brute force, fun cruising car.
Enclave - comfortable vehicle that can carry and tow.

Well, yes, my wife owns a 2011 Cabrio and I own a 2012 Clubman. All 4 of us, wife, two sons 13 and 16 and I ride in my clubman with no issues. We have been on some 5 hour trips with no problems. My son is 6' and rides comfortably in the back seat. If we need to haul something large we just jump in the 2010 Crew Cab, 4x4, 8' bed F350 Dually.....

I would own a new MINI and a classic at the same time, but there are far too many cars out there now that I would want as a 2nd car before another MINI.

Ha! Looks almost the same as my garage except our MC is MY and our Club is CR!

Just bought our first house and the club has hauled a good number of home improvement supplies as well as my tools and junk for work.

Re brakes, the MC is at about 77k with the same set of Hawk HPS I put on when it was fairly new.
