Do It!

I bought a 2010 R57 last year January. Had it one month and went and bought an 04 R53 that was salvage and rebuilt it. We now drive them both daily. I haven't had so much as one problem with either of them in a year. We both enjoy the gas mileage and with one daughter only, it works for us. I have an 04 Jeep Liberty, an 06 Honda Civic and an 2000 F250 Super Duty Diesel. I can tell you right now that only the Minis get driven regularly. I'm 46 yrs old so that should tell you something. Just go for it!!

The answer's yes, we do have 2 MINIs. When we only had one it was causing friction as to who would get to drive the MINI that day. So I got the first S.

My answer is NO. I can only afford two vehicles and can't go off-roading in a MINI.

I bought our first '02 MCS used with low miles and in great shape. I motored and modded for 5 years or so. While I wasn't necessarily in "need" of a new vehicle, I spotted our '10 MCS on the dealer's lot while waiting for service on the '02. Needless to say, I had to have it. My wife drives her 1997 Jeep and loves that for winter, but also drives the '02 in the summer. I used the '02 for winter driving and parked the '10 over the winter . . . . until this past February when the '02's SC threw a bearing or something. It was nice just opening the garage door to park the broken MINI and then pull out the new one. Fortunately it's been a mild winter so the '10 hasn't seen too much road salt.

We love our two MINIs but our next third vehicle will be a new Jeep for my wife and that sometimes needed utility function. I wonder if Jeeps comes in Dark Silver?

Crazy cars or crazy owners? Not sure this answers the question but we have 3 in our fleet of 8.

Already do. I drive an '04 MCS while my wife drives an '09 Justacooper. Both were purchased new and both are daily drivers. Kids have grown and have their own cars, so at most there is just the two of us in one car. Both cars have been very reliable. When one of these goes, we will probably opt for another mini.

Had Clubman S and Cabrio. Traded R55 for a Ford Edge ( cool techno stuff ). Just wanted both ends of the driving experiance. Elegant / floating verses Sporty / fun.

I took her to the dealership just to pick up some parts and she wanted to oogle the new coupes. While we were there we test drove the the Countryman, and she fell in love with it right away. She asked if we could actually take it home that night...

Now we're looking at getting rid of one of the 4 vehicles... Most likely the Bronco... and buying a countryman.
Congrats on the Countryman

I actually contacted WayMotorWorks. Way had one just waiting for me to buy. Turned out to be a great purchase. Had the time of my life restoring it. Only had body panel rash no structural issues.

2 of our 3 cars are Mini's. My wife has the 09 MCS and I drive the new Coupe. Our other car is a 05 GTO. Not sure if I would buy another. I think I may opt for something a little less expensive and that still gets good fuel economy.

I think my wife may opt for a Toyota the next time around. Cost is starting to be a factor. Trying to load up the retirement fund as I am running out of time if you know what I mean. I have a hankering to retire at 62.

I'll say yes! I've been driving MINIs since 2002 and love them. Now my wife wants to trade her Honda Insight for a Countryman. We'll be placing the order next week.

I am on my third Mini, my wife like them so much she decided she wanted one as well so a few years ago we traded in her mustang convertible for a 09 just and she loves it. It has been two years that we have been a two Mini family. We have a 42 foot fifth wheel camper that we keep in Myrtle Beach and when we go down we take both Mini's. It is much cheaper taking the two than it was pulling the travel trailer. We sold all of the gas guzzlers, store the camper at the campground. My neighbor has a Countryman on lease that runs out next year and I am planning on buying it, so then we will be a three Mini family......it's a sickness!

After today, we will be a 2 MINI family. My husband bought his from a friend we autocross with in February, and I decided shortly before then I wanted one too. I am buying mine today from a private owner. Both are justas. His is a Chili Red '04, and mine is an Indi Blue '03 (my favorite color). Can't wait to get them together for pictures
