The same day the gas prices went up, I went out and bought my mini cooper s, no way I'm going to gas up my M5 with these price hikes, getting 13 MPG city in my M5 and travel 100 miles daily.

It is funny that you said that. The car I had before the Mini was a Supercharged Saturn Ion Redline which I purchased the day the gas spiked in September 2005. My daily driver was a 94 Caprice 9C1 police car and I said the same thing. The money that I would spend on fuel for the Caprice, made the car payment and the fuel for the Saturn. I'm very happy I have this Mini now through this new round of insanity.

How about $1.50 per litre of premium up here (that's $6.00 per gallon for you south of the border!). Good thing I got rid of my hemi Ram!

God bless I don't have to pay that much here yet compared to some of the 4.30...in Michigan it's 3.95 for premium. I love averaging 33mpg in my R56:-)

I just got gas here in Colorado (Westminster) and with my King Super (Kroger back East) $0.10 off I paid $3.299 for Premium (91 Octane).

I don't keep track of my gas milage. But I know it is better than my 07 Accent since I am using less gallons per week.

Plus I have better performance and more fun. All around great deal.

Alright folks, this discussion is turning a bit too political. Lets curtail the this and that of Washington. If it continues the thread will be locked.
