Anyone use MINI car care products?

I have been looking around the forums for good products to wash my car and I think I'm pretty set on Prima but today I was at the dealership and the original MINI shampoo, spray wax, interior cleaner, etc. was pretty reasonably priced.

Just wondering if anyone has had any experience using these products or has any insight on them. Want to take care of the MINI but not break the bank

Thanks!

I have used the MINI plastic treatment. It seems to do the job. Black wheel arches in particular look good after application.

What do you use on the Leatherette interior?

I want to keep the leatherette seats soft and brite. So what do you use on them? Also what is good for the dash and door panels?

I got the leatherette instead of the cloth for 2 reasons. First I didn't like the sport seat and second I wasn't really fond of the checkered pattern of the cloth I saw.

Many years ago a product called NuVynl(sp) came out. I used it on the my cars (69 Coupe deville) vynl roof. Seemed to work fine. Is it still around and does anyone recommend it for leatherette seats?

Thanks.

My MA gave me a MINI branded car wash kit when I went to take delivery.
I have used the car wash shampoo. Seems to be pretty good but I don't have anything to compare it with other than the liquid dish-washing soap I was using before.
It's really concentrated and will last a long time... Like half a cap full in a 3 gallon bucket.

Don't use liquid dishwashing soap! IT will strip all the wax off your car and leave it open and unprotected against the elements.

The leatherette is, basically, vinyl. If I had it, I would just damp-wipe it.

They have vinyl cleaner from their line of products too. I would just buy the whole set since it doesnt seem anyone has specific experience with it to test it out, but I would have nothing to compare it to, never having used any of the better lines like Prima.
