It doesn't sound like it's too big of a deal if I do get the bulb out warning (hopefully I don't though!). A few flashes of the high beam isn't too much of an inconvenience.

it really isn't, and the error doesn't even show up on the speedometer, just on the tach as a small triangle. put some protection film on the lights last night, not really thrilled with the Lamin-X product. Last set, i had some left over Nano Fusion from when the guy came over to do my bumper and hood. that stuff was great, thinking about buying some Xpel to see how that works compared.

Okay- still have a bit of a problem. Got the headlights in, installed them (took much longer than expected... They were very hard to get strait!) So I turn the car on...

Contacting JB and he is being very helpful. I checked all the wires, everything seems to be O.K. there. But I just want my light to work! It's very odd... The passenger side is perfect. So now I'm faced with the dilemma of sending my lights back to get fixed, or having JB send the parts and me attempt to fix it. I would hate to send the lights back, but it's probably what I'll have to end up doing.

Major bummer! At least I am getting good communication on JB's part- always helpful.

I will post pictures of it when it was working once I get on my computer.

Was backing out of the driveway, and I got a bulb out warning. Thought "Okay, ive heard of this and it should go away!" I went out to look at the lights... And the driver's side light is not working. Turn signal works fine, but not the HID. Unplug it, replug, nothing.

Great news! (I hope...)
I ended up exchanging a couple emails back and forth between JB, and he was throwing out different ideas to see if any would work... Ended up getting into the meat of the headlights to the wires. I took out the major components from the "working" headlight and swapped them into the "non-working" headlight. The non-working one turned on! But the one that previously worked would not. So I found that, instead of having to send my lights in, JB will just send me (overnight, meaning I'll get it Saturday- AWESOME customer service, yet again) the wires needed. I'm hoping that after a very simple installation of the wires (literally just unplug 3 sockets and plug the new ones in) it will work. That seems to be the problem, so I'm pretty confident it will be fixed.

But, I did go out driving with one headlight (shhh!), and I'll tell you what- the light output is INCREDIBLE. Driving with only one headlight working, I was able to see probably 5x, if not more, than both of my halogen lights. The cutoff is insane, and the lights look incredible from the front!

Here are some pictures:

When they were working:::::

They look more blue in person... it's a very nice color.

(blinker was on- turn signal is actually blacked out)

Hopefully this will get resolved with the new wiring!

The install took much longer than I had planned! It kept being off-center. I got it after about 20 minutes (with help), but then had to disconnect both of them.. so it's back to the drawing board!

Turns out one of the control boxes was faulty (or at least on it's last leg for some reason) -- a new setup is en route via USPS overnight and you should be up and running tomorrow.

Thanks!

Ugh.... so sending them out tomorrow with overnight shipping, and they should be here on Monday. The waiting game begins again.

I totally agree!!! Where are you getting your 5000k bulbs for the fogs? Do you have a link?

How are your lights holding up?
