Teflon Coating

The finance manager at the dealership sent me a list of options that I can buy when I get the car and one mentioned a teflon coating on the exterior of the car. I have no intention of getting it, but I'm wondering if anyone actually has or if they have any idea what the deal is...it seems rather expensive when everything I've read online says that it needs to be replaced on a yearly basis.

Any info would be great!

I wouldn't get it. I got duped into buying a paint warranty on a 4Runner I bought from the dealer a few years back. I had a little spot on the hood that was discolored and they gave every excuse under the sun as to why they wouldn't fix it.

Don't bother with that BS.
Do some reading up on Optimum Opti Coat.
