My humble opinion. I actually have a 2011 MCS, not a convertible, but per the documentation these antennas supposedly fit *all* MINI Coopers from 2002 and up. It works comparably to/as well as the OEM stubby. I know this because I *had* one: Being rubber/plastic it flexed very slightly from putting a lightweight car cover on and off every day and after a couple of months the rubber/plastic covering broke at the flex point near the base. This one is all metal so no flex. Haven't had it very long, so we'll see.

Got mine off eBay for $16.95 with free shipping. Search for 'mini (color desired) carbon fiber antenna'.
