New Whalen Shift ****

Name: whalen shift ****.jpeg
Views: 196
Size: 1.7 KB08-06-2011

I purchased a Shift **** from Doug at whalenshift machine this week. It is the stainless steel design with the wings and shift #'s engraved.

I am very impressed with the superior quality of this product and very happy with the 2 day turn around service. I have an r53 and the installment took all of 10 seconds.

If anyone is thinking about getting one of these, I say: "Go For It". You can not go wrong.

+1 though it's really too hot here to consider a heat magnet like a SS shift ****.....provided you like the skin on your palm that is.

CKeffer,

I can see SS being a problem in Texas. It may be in Missouri as well, however, I'm not worried. We were born with Thick Skin!!!!!

Very nice indeed! A cool ( well, unless you live in Texas or have thin skin ) addition to your MINI!

Btw, a larger pic would be great!

It amazes me how little things like a new "Shift ****" can make me so happy. Today I was driving "Flash" when it occurred to me why I love this accessory so much.

"It is not just another shift ****, It is a finely crafted piece of jewelry designed according to my personal taste"!!!!

I have got one on my TWM performance weighed shift **** that I put on and take off. I putt it on when its going to sit in cold or really hot weather and within a few minutes of internal climate control I take it off. Strange thing about the SS ***** though, when it is really hot out side if you roll down the windows and drive for about 5to 10 minutes the **** cools down enough to touch normally. If you just through the a/c on and don't do that it takes next to forever for it to cool down. BTW being from a hot state I have all kinds of ways to help keep or help cool down the interior pretty fast. Just thought I would throw that out there.

Thanks Porthos.

I think I will put one of my old Golf Wood Covers on mine when the temperatures get extreme. However, I do like the ones that you posted.

Are there any other really cool accessories like this that you would suggest. I do not think I need any additional Performance Upgrades at this point.

Tint would keep the temps down especially ceramic tint. Hmmm I can't really think of any. Though i do like my Cravenspeed Droid phone holder with the hook up for a wireless OBD reader and gauges.

Right now, my Droid Cell phone is more trouble than it's worth. I am presently jamming to CD's and the Radio. I absolutely love my HK system. Maybe next phone I will add the I-Pod auxillary hook up.

Thanks for the advice. I am always on the lookout for ways to enhance my "Flash"!
