I see what your saying Wandrur. While I really like the lines of the concept vehicle, I am hoping it comes with a clam shell door similar to the clubman to make it more "relevant".

The countryman is the car that MINI had to make in order to make cars like the coupe/roadster. They know the market is VERY limited with the coupe/roadster so they had to make a car that tons of people would buy. The countryman has been selling like crazy this year.

 

Agree. The Coupe/Roadster is what they want to make, the Countryman pays the bills. It's like how movie studios have to make those stupid romantic comedies and American-Pie college romp movies so they can pay for the clever character driven films they put out through their smaller satellite studios

 

That's funny. They can't seem to get rid of them at the local dealership.
