The interior hasn't changed very much over the R56s (from the front seats up, obviously)

I have a two seater now and it's not an issue for me. We have a Audi Q5 too so we use that for when we need to people haul or do bigger jobs.

Thank, Odin they didn't. That's just plain distasteful.

I for one LOVE the new coupe. I'm just not sure that I'd be willing to part ways with my padded luggage holder (back seat). There are reasons I didn't select a Cayman or a 370z and those reasons have to do with the practicality the hatch offers. That said I do love it.

Was this a concept with a different roof? Looks awesome, I do like it better.. although I still like the coupe.

Not feeling the windows behind the doors should have make them taller so the roof looks more intergated with the rest of the car. Reminds me of a removable hard top for a convertible. Now a vert verson of the coupe would be sweet. Like others said one of the cool things about a mini is the utility of the hatch.

I have a 2011 hardtop and find the backseat worthless for people with legs (might be good for a dog), so I find the idea of no back seat / extra trunk space appealing.

I'll definitely take a look when I approach 50K/end of warranty.

I kind of like the coupe but I see no reason to give up space and the utility of the hatch for a car that turns out to be heavier.

I'll be adding a roadster next summer but unfortunately I doubt that the Cooper Roadster will be able to beat out the MX-5 for pure driving enjoyment.
