I placed my order for a Convertible S, auto, nav, mini connect, cold weather &premium packages. I placed my orderthe 2nd week of APRIL! My vehicle has shown as ON ORDER since then. My dealer will only tell me there are delays due to the Tsunami in Japan. Will not give me any estimated build time frame. At this point I think I should cancel the order and wait and order a 2012.

Can anyone shed any light on the production delays?

 

I was at my dealer for the MINI Rocks the Rivals and was told it is the automatic transmissions that they are having problems getting as they are made in Japan.

 

Nav was/is another issue along with the auto trans.

 

I ordered mine with connect/nav and got it pushed through. Must be the auto tranny.
