Throttle body problem
HI,
A couple of weeks ago I started getting engine lights on, then the my '09 S had a major power loss and the rpms were surging. Had to have mini towed and it turned out to be the throttle body. Paperwork says it was caused by excessive moisture freezing. I live in a cold climate, but always use Shell high test. Is this a strange problem, or is there something I can do to try and avoid this in the future? The problem occurred after the car had been sitting for about a week, but not in the kind of subzero weather that we get here sometimes.
Any suggestions appreciated!
