Im taking delivery of a new Jetski on wednesday and was just curious whether or not the mini can tow the Ski? with trailer and ski it weighs just under 1000lbs. I dont know how to calculate the tongue weight but would assume that its around 175ish.

I did a search and nothing came up so i figured i would ask. Its well within the mini's towing compacity and minidomore hitch. Im just wondering how it works at the boat ramp and if anyone that has towed a ski had issues getting it in or out of the water?

BTW...my mini is 6speed so its going to be a little harder to begin with

 

I would think towing itself would be no problem, but I think it would be interesting if the launch ramp was very steep. If you tried to take it slow with an extra 1000lbs behind you, I'd think the clutch would have a pretty tough time coping.
