Return of the Holies! (and more!) 2012 info..

My favorite 15" MINI rim of all time is making a comeback. Not that I'll be using it but it looks great. 7 holes for those who know them.

Want a compass in the mirror? You'll be able to get it!

Say goodbye to the premium package (as you know it). It's still called the premium package but it looks a lot like the convenience package. Oh yea, say goodbye to the convenience package and hello to the technology package.

Say goodbye to Horizon Blue and a warm re-welcome to lightning blue.

Definitely the best wheels ever, pitty they're only in 15"

One of their best colours, interesting a discontinued colour is coming back. I thought discontinued colours were forever gone.

Where did you find this info?

I was just at the dealer today ordering my '11 MCS and I can confirm that the Premium package is now more like the convenience package. It comes with comfort access, chrome line interior, and some other bits and pieces. It no longer comes with sunroof or HK sound.

The Technology package now comes with HK sound, Mini connected, and 2 or three other things, I can't remember it all.

The dealer let me see the ordering guide. She told me that the option packages take effect as of June 1 orders.

I didn't see the color changes or wheel changes so I can't confirm that.

MotorMouth is correct Horizon Blue is gone in favor of Lightning blue. As well as package changes and the brand new MINI Yours option.

This all came from a bulletin that MINI sent out regarding ordering 2012s as of July Production. I believe MotorMouth works at a dealership so I would imagine he found this in the same bulletin that we recieved here via "Yo Vinnie" our MINI product Manager.

Some cool options have been added like the MINI Yours, and then some changes that will take some getting used to like premium package no longer having the moonroof.

Purple Haze was a 2005 Color. It may have been available for 2006 MY I am not 100% sure, but it was either 2005 or 2006 MY

Purple Haze was definitely available for 05, I think it was discontinued half way through 06.

I heard a rumor that the exterior rear trim on the Clubman will be available in body color for 2012.

Will the Countryman rear bench seat be available for ordering beginning in June as well? Just about have my wife talked into one, but baby seat in the middle in the rear is non-negotiable with her.

It really does make for a better looking Clubman, but I'd be a little irritated they didn't do it for 2011 since that's why I went with White Silver - might have considered another color if that had been an option.
