I took the snow tires off...again. 3 times this season and put my Challenge wheels back on with my worn Bridgestone RE11s that feel like they can cling to the side of a building if I wanted to. I love this car, especially with my summer wheels. I have brand new RE11s waiting to go on. Maybe tomorrow I'll mount them.

It's McCorkle...It connects Old 99 to Tilley Road. I often find myself (or maybe it's Oliver doing it on his own) taking a quick turn to do the curves when I'm on my way to or from Tumwater. Of course, you do have to go consderably faster than the posted 35 mph to have the best fun.

I'm going to have Molly Flatbedded to MINI of Portland today, Heater is blowing COLD air!! This happened last night on the last leg of our errand running yesterday, got home about 8:30 or so. After we got home I was going to check for Codes as no Warning *Bong* was heard, but before I checked for Codes I popped the hood...NO COOLANT!!
Had been fine all day of driving all over the city, and being that it was in the Upper 40s we had the had the Heat on High (Auto A/C) and noticed that no heat was coming out of any of the Vents!!

I am totally bummed, we were supposed to go to a Club Event, "Put the Kart before the Horse" at an Indoor GoKart Race Track today. I'm not sure I can be all fun and games today when I am so worried about my Baby!!

When mine did it, no puddle. It'd drip out onto the transmission and evaporate and blow back . I'd check my overflow bottle one day and next day it'd be down to almost nothing.

Mine broke my heart when I got in to go to work and noticed a crack in the windshield about 4 inches long coming up from the lower corner on the driver's side. Anyone know how to stop a crack from spreading?

Don't believe you can stop it. A chip, we all know you can stop them but
not a crack. The eventual jarring (from Mini's smooth ride), and temperature changes will fix that right up.

I said I didn't believe so but was thinking, you could get 2 of those self
repair chip kits and try one at each end of the crack. It may help for
awhile. Don't think the repair kits are but $6 each or so. Haven't priced
them lately.

Thanks - I didn't know DIY kits existed. Seems like it's worth a shot. What's the worse that could happen - if I do nothing I'm already going to need a new windshield.

Funny, the repair kit I found online is a brand called Stoner...

That is funny. I had a chip (however not a crack) in my 99 Mazda PU which I've had since new and still have. Fixed a chip a month after I got
it and it's never done anything.
If your crack starts at the bottom of the windshield you probably won't have any luck with that end but the other end may work. Like you said, it can't hurt.
Also, most of you auto parts stores sell the kits as well.

I know the feeling.. I've been to lazy to get my windscreen replaced, but i have a 3 foot crack and another 8 inch crack thanks to a nice dump truck carrying gravel.

Today my MINI showed that it has pretty decent bluetooth capability. It allowed me to talk to my ex hands free so I could focus more on driving and shifting.

I guess I was secretly wishing the bluetooth didn't work so well, because it would have been a good excuse to get off the phone with the ex
