I love redlining in second gear on narrow twisties knowing even the tightest bend won't shake me off. I love surprising suckers in big pigs with how quickly I can accelerate and weave through traffic. Love the feeling of a perfectly rev matched downshift right before a curve. Love the heated seats on cold mornings. Love the irony of playing loud bass heavy tunes with the windows down, rolling slow through downtown.

Picking up my Cooper S on wednesday, but I can tell you what I loved enough about it to actually buy it.

Getting back to the gokart-like handling of my old Miata, only with more cargo room, more power, better gas mileage, and having my head NOT hit the roof.

I love the fact that I've had mine for over 13 months, (MINI's int he family for over 9 years) and it still gives me a buzz everytime I see it/sit in it/drive it

I love the fact it is so impractical and unfathomable at times, but it gets away with it because it isn't designed to be like a normal car

I love the charm, the cheeky character

I love the noise over 4k rpm on standard R50 Cooper

I love the fact it is small, yet has everything a Mercedes S Class would have had at the time (Leather, 6CD, ASC, AC etc.)

I LOVE the way it drives

I love the way it will always put a smile on my face

I love that people still talk to me about the car in car parks at times

I HATE having to get out of it, knowing I can't drive it until tomorrow!

  • I love that it belongs to me.
  • I love how cute and small it looks parked in front of my house.
  • I love tricking people into thinking I'm slowing down with my rear fog light.
  • I love how bright my xenon headlights are (half my driving is done after midnight.).
  • I love listening to the engine.
  • I love how simple it is to receive calls with bluetooth.
  • I love washing and taking care of my car now.

All great answers, previous posts, completely agree.

As referenced in the article I wrote in issue #24 in MC2 Magazine, my MINI, after a catastrophic spinal cord injury, has literally given me a big piece of my life back and renewed my passion for cars, driving, travel and kick *** FUN for the past 4yrs! I'm sure I'll be driving MINI's for a very long time

Also, my girlfriend got tired of asking to drive mine so she bought herself a black '10 convertible MCS. Problem solved...

Beep, beep..c u @ AMVIV 8..

The Sport Button .
It's Green .
And it makes me do this all the time.
Sometimes my wife does this if I take a curve too fast.
When I tell people how much gas milage it gets, they do this or this .
Am I happy .
