If you went from 195/55/16 to 205/45/17, it is close to the same diameter. I just did a tire size calculator on these two and the 16 was 24.4 in. the 17 was 24.3 in. The 17, being slightly shorter will actually add to the speedo error. A taller tire will bring it towards zero error.

Not my experience (2011 S Clubman). With GPS over ~50 mile stretches, odometer counts off miles faster than gps and mile markers.

What's their "excuse" for not having the fuel gauge accurate? I know the tank is convoluted but in this day and age they could physically determine the volume at depth increments of perhaps 1/8" and have a microprocessor use those findings to show the volume in the tank. Microprocessors are very inexpensive nowadays - less that $0.50 for one that will do this job!
The fuel gauge may not be linear, but I've found it to be fairly accurate.

Been driving for over 50 years and I have yet to see a vehicle of any kind including Cessnas that doesn't seem burn the gas off the bottom half faster than the top half. That's just the way they are, get used to it.

5%

My 2013 reads about 5% high compared to my GPS (stock 15" tires). This is really annoying. In this age of electric speedos (vs cable) there is no excuse for this. My 2000 Audi is DEAD ON.

90 is 87 on my 08 Justa. Odo is absolutely correct. And 67 is 64 but just got a warning!
