Anyone got experence with getting their mini wrapped?

I'm debating on getting mine vinyl wrapped in either matte white or matte black, anyone have experience with this? What materials I should make sure they are/are not using? And most importantly a price estimation?

I think the majority that have been done have been self-wrapped.

I know VicSkimmer had done his matte white. Looks awesome, BUT apparently got dirty easily, and wasnt very cleanable. Something to think about.

lyles vinyl styles does full wraps and his work is awesome. He did some of my trim body-matched

Full vehicle wraps range from $2,000 - $5,000
Cost will depend on size of vehicle, amount of contours, and color choice.
Most two door coupes run around $3k, Sedans are in the ballpark of $4k, and larger wagons & SUV's - $5k.
See our FAQ section for more info on full wraps.

The MINI dealer in Orlando recently had a matte black wrapped MINI for sale. One thing I noticed was how much fingerprints showed up on it from all the people touching it in the showroom.

My husband recently got his roof wrapped, and aside from loving the custom design he keeps bragging about how easy it is to dry! Here's a picture of part of his roof:

That roof vehicle wrap looks appealing. I too think matte black is not a good choice for car wraps as it will show all fingerprints. I recently got full body vehicle wraps done and its looking truly amazing and awesome!

I'd guess $2000-3000 to wrap a MINI, or $500ish for materials if you want to tackle it yourself. I think there are cleaning products specifically for vinyl to take care of the extra maintenance of it.

@rtowell you had the fabulous-looking MINI blackjack roof decal added at the port, but the stripes you want couldn't be added there? Your photos are great.

BTW, 81 days is almost record-fast delivery. I ordered in September 2019, expecting delivery in March, 6 months later, but then the pandemic shut down the factory. My Cooper SE was delivered 340 days after ordering and 172 days after the expected delivery. As you said, well worth the wait. It's great the factory is finally catching up, but why are cars still sitting for a month at the port in Southampton?

I love my Iconic, Moonwalk Grey, black top, yellow blade/mirrors, Power Spokes, MINI Electric-stitching floor mats, sport aerial rod, license plate ELEKTRO Cooper SE!

Yep, some people buy our 3M 1080 stuff and do it yourself. But it takes time and skill to make it look good.
