Keep it going!
After almost 6 years, my daughter still gets happy when we get a wave back.

i was up in and around cherry hill today and got two waves. One was a red r53 (nice!)on 70 and flashed my lights and she turned and enthusiastically waved back out of her window haha

And the second one was on 73 and a green r56 waved. I waved back but then realized they couldnt of seen me because of my tint. lol

I was glad to get these waves. It seems like EVERYONE AND THEIR MOM has a mini around here now. and just about given up waiving and they all look miserable behind the wheel. I saw a new FIAT today so maybe all the grocerygetters will head over to fiat rather then mini and save the car for Motorers who deserve a mini

Went up to Charleston to get my thermostat replaced and on the way back had a good dozen MINI drivers wave at me, even going opposite direction on I-95. It was a good thing!

We were out in Wulfric yesterday('11 CMS) and saw 2 other CMs! We had just had the windows tinted Friday, so can't roll down the windows yet. We waved frantically at the first one but I'm pretty sure they didn't see us. When we saw the second one my husband thought to flash the lights and we got a wave back. I've read where some people in the Countryman section were bummed because they weren't getting waves. I'll admit that I didn't recognize the first one as a MINI until my daughter yelled "MINI"(we've been waving for 5+years). By the time I saw the second one I knew what to look for, so will be adding the CMs to our repertoire! So keep an eye out for the CMs, everyone, they need some MINI love, too .

I haven't seen another mini since I bought mine. Granted it was only a few days ago, but I'd still like to wave.

I also got my first wave today: Black white-roofed R53 waving at my all-black R56. Rare in a MINI-dense region like the Bay Area, but always a thrill!
