Saturday night my MINI Cooper S '09 was hesitating to start, engine was turning over multiple times before starting. When started it was having difficulty running, then I drove home. Sunday morning after a night in the garage wouldn't start at all. Same thing on Monday morning, had it towed to Dealer. Got a call yesterday late evening I was told it started right up for them. Then I was asked when did I get gas, it has been over a week since I got gas. Doesn't sound like that's the issue, they're wondering how to recreate the problem. So for today is Tues., Mar. 8th and I've not heard anything up to this point.

I hear a gas issue coming up next from the service center. Has anyone ever had this issue and what was the outcome?

 

It does sound like a gas issue - like a high pressure fuel pump issue to be more specific! If they can't duplicate it they won't change it tho....
