I beg to differ. I went out on some gravel roads to an apple orchard with a small group of MINI's and we were moving. I'd say it does as well as any other front wheel drive vehicle. But still to stay on topic, I'd avoid ALL streets just after heavy snow has been cleared since the potholes are bad and you look like a crazy person dodging them.
