Todds mods/ motoring file grill badges

Has anyone bought a grill badge from them... I ordered one over 20 days ago and still has not come... I have emailed serveral times with no replies. Just wondering if this is normal. I mean I didn't want to have a bad experience because I liked so many of there grill badges...

Patience is a virtue with some MINI vendors. Aesthetic Creations is another to take a "patience pill" with. You will eventually get what you ordered. And it will be just what you wanted. Just won't be quick.

MiniMike, I have ordered from Todd's twice and I can confirm that 3 weeks + is the norm. Have patience, my friend.

I never ordered from him I just bought them directly from Todd at the Dragon and Mickey and MINI. They are great and he is a good guy.

I ordered mine from him and sent at least four emails and no response and then after more than a month I received an email that he indicated that they may be lost in mail so he resend again, people have different experiences with him. personally I will not buy anything from him anymore. part of a successful customer satisfaction is being responsive. plus there are lots of other vendors who do the sam thing with similar or better quality.

I've had good service from Todd and his badges are nice. Don't forget that he and many other vendors are pretty much one-man shops or ma-and-pa operations, so there's only so much time available for them to do everything. Of the half-dozen or so e-mails I've sent Todd, only one actually got a reply, but as far as I can tell he reads them all.

Yeah. Todd is a one man band and he's busy doing Motoring File and White Roof Radio also along with doing the vinyl graphics for our local dealership...

It's been over a month for mine-still no badges and no response from email.

"Being busy" is not a legitimate excuse when the confirmation email when I ordered says "two weeks", and there is no response to email. Oh, and don't even try to call bc there is no phone number to contact him.

If I ran my business like this I would be out of business in very short order.

Sounds like a vendor that really doesn't want my business. I can tolerate a delay as long as the seller is honest and warns me of a long delivery time upfront. Doesn't look like Todds mods sells anything that can't be sourced somewhere else. Take your business elsewhere.

It's been exactly a month since I ordered my badges, and I still haven't received mine either. I emailed him 9 days ago and still haven't received a response. If it doesn't come in the next 2 weeks, I'm going to file a chargeback on my credit card. The least he could do is email me back.

Ya mine took way over what it should of. I mean the price is great but service sucks!! I woulnt mind if he emailed back once in a while. I like spending the few extra bucks at go badges and getting a nicer badge way faster and with GREAT service!

A month wait for a product is longer than I would ever tolerate for anything unless it's a special product I'm ordering internationally. I would never buy from a seller that doesn't communicate either. 2 weeks in and I would be filing a complaint to my credit card company.

After a slightly-angry email he replied to me. I kinda feel bad for my angry email now but his reply was professional and sympathetic. Apparently, shipping to Canada has been troublesome for him in the past as well. He has been kind to refund my CC. However, if I receive the badges, I told him to re-charge my card because I don't want him to lose money.

Sorry for your situation, but the last time I checked shipping to California is not a problem.

I wish I would have seen this thread before placing an order. My order went in on Feb 27,with the understanding it would tak about 10 days. I have nowsent2 emails to request a status, and received no response. What a shotty way to do business.

GoBadges rocks, btw. Prompt, courteous responses to emails and fast shipping. Completely worth the price difference.

From listening to White Roof Radio I am pretty sure Todd's primary business is Vinyl and stripes. I will see him at the Dragon and get his reasons for ignoring emails. Also that this will cause him loss of business and income. He does not know me but on behalf of all NAM members I will speak to him.

I sent a 3rd email night before last threatening to report him to my card company if I don't receive something shortly. I hate doing this to anyone, but total lack of communication and consideration for your customer is unacceptable.

I had no problems with my order in February. No communication. But my badges arrived fairly quickly. Sorry it didn't work for you.
