Hello! My MINI is making a burn rubber odor. Not sure where it's coming from.I'm not redlining the engine and not accelerating to hard.. any comments? 2010 cooper s stick about 8K miles

 

Hi there, and welcome to NAM. I don't have any suggestion about the burnt rubber odor except that for being a '10 call the dealer & get your car into the service bays ASAP. Take advantage of the warranty care & maintenance while you can. Good luck!

 

I smelled burning rubber the other day from my '10, too, and when I looked in the mirror to see if I ran something over, there were these two long black trails behind me ... I was soooooo relieved to learn that I didn't just smoke up one tire.
