Just pulled a wheel and you're right, they are 18x8. Thanks for the suggestion. Now to find some tires that get rid of the rubbing. So you think the 215/40 or 215/45 would be the way to go? Would a 205 be stretched too thin?

Thanks again, we really appreciate the help.

I think I would stay with 215/40 or 205/40 even, but my choice would probably be the 215's. You really need to decide on the tires you want to run first, then choose the size. Each tire design is going to be slightly different, but you want to have a section width of less than about 8.7-8.8 inches. BTW, the 225's you have now have a section width of like 9". While you are looking around the underside of your car... Look to see if your snubbers have been cut.

Another 2¢! Good Luck

Thanks for the advice, we really appreciate it. All looks good underneath except for some of the carpet on wheel wells rubbed and the plastic fender cover getting rubbed down. Will keep you posted.

Hey octaneguy, your clubman looks great. I have a 2011 mcs in Midnight black and was debating the out motoring red belt line mod and appreciate you Photoshopping that. It really gave me an idea of what it might look like. I think for now I will go with black and keep the red idea on deck since there are no other red accents as of now. I would like some red brake ducts though along with the red belt line and red mirror caps. Possibly red gas cap too but we'll see. I can't get rid of all of the chrome since I have chrome wheels too (I know, chrome wheels are for the birds but I gotta say they look good on my car) Any who keep up the good work

Thank you octaneguy

Just wanted to drop in to say thankyou for taking the time to answer questions and write up this thread, i just installed my magnaflow on my clubbie today, and im very pleased with the sound, its perfect and exactly what i wanted.
i was worried it was going to be too quiet but you can really tell the difference from stock, this is how the car should sound!

If there is anyone else out there debating this exhaust, i would say "debate no longer, just do it", i wish i would have bought mine sooner!

Your thread really helped with the install, it was even easier than i thought it would be

Cheers!
