Mini Drivers large & Small

I was kind of curious if Minis attract or deter certain sized people.

Is anyone willing to share if they are short, tall, skinny, large?

I know a guy who talked his Dad out of buying a mini to avoid "Fat man in a little car jokes". (oddly the guy's Dad restores Fiero's...)

I'm 5'6 150lbs so I fall into the small category for a man. I think that might have something to do with why I like small cars.

Count:
Small: 1
Large:
Normal:

(try to update the counter)

5'11", 175#, and sit with seat bottom two pulls up from all the way down...and one notch from all the way back. I guess I'm average for a guy. This is the first vehicle I've had that I'm not comfortable with the seat all the way back. I'm 44 so I'm from the generation that doesn't lay down to drive...old guys rule! It's never too late for a happy childhood!

You're not old!

5'10", 190 lbs and fit fine, of course.......my wife is 5'3" and about 110lbs, she raises the seat all the way up and the rest of it is fine, so "all" I have to do to get in after her is lower it back down all the way.

My best friend is 6'4", 300lbs+ and he was amazed when he climbed into my R53 and had to move the seat forward 1 notch, and he did not have to duck around the sunroof!

6' 5" and 160 pounds here. I definitely fit fine. Why MINI for me? 'Cus I have always been drawn to small cars. After owning 5 classic Minis, I decided to move on to the BMW sourced MINI.

I fit the "fat old guy" description, but I never had trouble getting comfortable in my '04 MCS. As to what other people thought, I don't know and I don't care...

5'11", 205#, no real trouble once I'm in, but age and bad back make quick exits problematical.

Definitely in the 'Large' category. 6'6" and 375#. Perfectly comfortable. I keep the seat height all the way down and two clicks from all the way back. I have plenty of clearance from the sunroof and working the clutch is no problem for my size 15's. Nobody will ever sit behind me though! I do have trouble seeing traffic lights sometimes...

Two things here, first I am 6'2" 245 lbs. I looked at other small cars - Miata, S2000, and assorted others, but with those I couldn't fit the roof line is too low..
My wife owns a 2005 Honda Accord, and I am always hitting my head on the door frame to get in.
I just don't have those issues with the clubman and I have plenty of room. Usually get some strange looks when I get in/out people can't believe that I fit into the Clubman!
BTW, the seat adjustment is two clicks from the furthest back - room to grow I guess..
