Poor MINI

So I saw this MINI today and the poor thing looks like its had a rough life. Just had to get a picture of the first MINI I have seen with side pipes...definitely a youification.

I wonder where his muffler and cat is? Hard to get plates without those items unless this is Cuba.

They're probably just bolted on and not functional. I mean seriously, someone went through the effort of putting on sidepipes and left steel wheels on the car? WTF?

Anchorage = steel wheels for snows. Understandable. Unusual sidepipes though. If functional, kinda cool!

Is there a car in Anchorage that doesn't have a rough life? I was up there on a business trip in February and I don't see how you can keep a car clean in that environment. Probably not too many MINIs around either.

It's funny how people degrade other's cars. Is it yours? Just because you don't have an imagination or creativity is no cause to put someone elses car down. Maybe the owner of this car would laugh at your roof rack, etc. The point is, this car is showing the true nature of the MINI scene.......customization and a car that is being used. The sooner that some owners realize this, the better that the MINI culture will be. Unfortunately we're seeing a decline in this area.

Yeah, I found that out a few weekends ago when I was doing a track day and there was a blue S2000 there.

I couldn't figure out why it was so freakin' loud until I looked under the hood and saw an LS2.

I do engine swaps all the time and that was by far, the nicest setup I've seen.
