i jus got my 06 mcs and it didnt come with the trunk cover, you know the one that covers the tiny trunk space we got. i was wondering if anyone knw where i can find one of these

 

ME TOO! I despise those previous owners who keep the tire change kits, rear cargo space covers, and owners manuals to sell for profit on ebay when they dump their mini at some dealership!

 

Do you mean a floor mat or the shelf cover? You can purchase either of them from the parts department at a MINI dealer.

The dealer will definitely have them, or there are parts places online that sell them as well (Pelican Parts, and for a rear parcel shelf I would imagine Moss Mini or Mini Mania might as well).

Don't know, mine didn't come with one.

 

Bought a 2012 R56 over the weekend which was missing this part. I spent the better part of an afternoon figuring out it not a "cargo cover", "trunk cover", etc. The official BMW part number is 51467151717, and they currently have an MSRP of $187. I think I will call a couple foreign car junkyards around town before I order one from my local dealer.

 

For the R53 : Gen 1 MINI 2002-2006

Sets into place with the two ***** and then the hooks with the two nylon strings to the trunk lid inside trim.

Its right here if you need a new one, comes with the deck and the two attachments to hook up on the backside of the trunk:
