When you come to a stop, put on your parking brake, turn the ignition off, and instinctively tell your passenger to, "pull twice!"
Oh boy am I guilty of this. Even friends that remember this I seem to remind anyways...

It seems I always get the "old lady" saying my car is so cute when Im pulling into a parking lot.

You know you drive a mini when...

You start pulling twice on the door handle of other ppl's cars... and surprised when it opens on the first pull.

You're trying to decide what colour mood light you like best.

Guilty on ALL counts! Almost fell out of my chair reading this. Here are two more:

1) When I get into my other car I get a confused, uneasy feeling wondering where the controls are...and keep looking at the center stack for the speedo.

2) when we go out I always ask my wife if she wants to drive the MINI, as much as she loves it she always let's me drive...and I get a big silly grin on my face.

One more...when I start the engine, mine doesn't sound like a diesel -- mine sounds like someone stepped on a duck...QUACK!

When you use the back of your left arm on the exterior body work to get out of the drivers seat.

When your neck and head hurts getting into the Honda Accord, and you think "I don't have this problem in the Mini, at it is much lower!" ummmm?

I LOVE THIS THREAD!!! I laughed so hard, because it's ALL true, and i'm 100% guilty of ALL that you guys wrote!

You know you drive a MINI when everyone in your workplace comes to you and says, "I saw a blue/red/orange/white/whatevercolor MINI and I thought of you!"

OR, everyone in your workplace comes to you and says, "I saw a blue/red/orange/white/whatevercolor MINI across town. Who owns THAT MINI?" (Like I know everyone who owns one?? Ok, well, MAYbe I do... )

When you pull up to the gas pump and get out only to realize the pump is way back there and the filler way up here.

You know you drive a mini when...

your plane lands and you get excited thinking about the mini.

you get home from out of town and the first place you go is the garage... and you feel complete again.

you purposely choose to drive the long way.

When you park next to a curb and have to step up to get out of the car.

When you have to parallel park, you get excited because you know you'll fit without a problem.

Little kids eyes get big when they see your mini.

When you open the gas filler door from the drivers seat with your left hand with out getting out of the car cause the gas attendant thinks it is suppose to twist off and not flip over.

Did that the other day. Had to start the engine and back up.

I'd been driving the Integra while working on the MINI's interior and audio. Got used to the Integra again.

While they are suggested speeds, in California you may have difficulty convincing a cop or judge that anything higher is a safe speed. According to a traffic school instructor (before it went to cyberspace) fighting a ticket for exceeding this speed can be difficult.

I've always thought these signs needed to be doubled, but then my first car was an Alfa Romeo.

I was taught in driver's ed. that any speed limit with a yellow background or written in yellow was strictly a suggested speed. Who knows if thats what the police think. Probably best to slow down if your in doubt.

I just had to back my dad's truck out of the garage... I put the key in, and pushed various places of the dash expecting the engine to start.

I'm going to say if this song pops into your head... you probably drive a MINI...

You probably have some "issues" too... but hey... the first step is admitting it!

You park in the 'back 40' and don't mind the long walk to the mall entrance...(and yes, on your return, when the big SUV parks beside you, you crap your pants thinking someone stole your car...)
