Welcome to this thread Mike.

Are you doing a year in Korea? Dont buy into the "Drinking Girls" and dont trust Mama san's kimchee in the field.

Sucks being seperated from your MINI, I know Ive been there. Hopefully whoever you left in charge of it while you are away will care for it the same as you do.

Yah, I got to call USAA and file fraud cuz of one of those stupid mama san's quick hands (definitely didn't want to use my card there, but she wanted to!). The first half Holly was in the charge of my now ex wife (hooray for surprise midtour divorce papers), now my Mom is taking care of her, and I let friends take her on short road trips to keep her legs stretched

BTW I envy your car so much! I'm going to be copying some aspects of it in the future

Went shopping for green brush on caliper paint, but couldn't find any. I did pick up a red kit though for $15 on clearance at the local home improvement store.

Maybe this weekend after my di-noc comes in I will get around to the calipers, cleaning my wheels and re-greasing my pads. Been pretty busy remodeling the bathroom though and that is the priority right now.

Thanks to the Cheap DIY thread, I made a trip to Lowe's this morning and installed a very satisfying $3 upgrade: the vinyl plugs in the interior door handles.

Good times - thanks NAM!

Thanks for the compliment. Just dont copy the part where I turned the motor into a paperweight... Thats just too expensive.

Sorry to hear about the midtour divorce me letter, it happens quite a bit to us though, you kinda have to expect it in the back of your mind. Mama San is a quick and sneaky one... I swear that they rip off everyone who is stationed over there atleast once.

I swapped out my dome light (clear) with an amber one - now the gauges and the dome light match. The soft orange glow is kinda cool - next is the footwells since I already replaced the door bulbs (underneath - the ones that shine onto the ground when you open the door) with amber. It's all about the Orange! Although Syracuse didn't make it to the Final Four and busted up my bracket, I still like the Orange!!

Is it just me or, do you hate it when people stitch large images side by side on this forum? It kinda sucks needing to scroll the page sideways just to read what people are saying.

The pic's are always apritiated but really leave them seperate and go up and down.

I can't recall seeing any side by side - only up and down. But that would be annoying

Oh! so that's the issue with this thread. Thought it was my computer! Will it go back to normal when we get to the next page, which I am helping do by posting this!?

Wrap looks great!

As far as side-scrolling goes, I'm not seeing any of it either, all of the pics are just up and down?

You're gonna love that CAI!!!! Lots of grrrrrrr, and a bit of HP, and most importantly, quicker throttle response...

me neither, everything looks good to me.

I had my windshield replaced today and so far so good. I made sure to find a reputable shop and make sure they got oem glass (made sure not to use safelite like I did years ago, worst experience ever). Now just need to wait til Friday so I can detail it in time for Dubs on Defrost in CT on Saturday
show info: https://www.facebook.com/events/224314897658553/ last year there were nearly 1200 cars, this year they're planning for closer to 2000
