2010 MCSa, wifes' car but she let's me drive it now and then. I love putting it throughout it's paces on our local twisty roads. The Steptronic and paddle shifters work as well as those on my 1-series (to be expected I suppose. It is a BMW after all...)

Where do you get the red bull Mini's at?? My fiance has been bugging me to find one for him.

 

Quick question: when you guys (and gals) are in SD, and are coasting (ie not heavy or at all on the brakes) to a stop light, is the downshift from 3rd to 2nd that happens at around 25mph (40 km/h) a bit lurchy? Seamus has always done this, but I'm kinda curious.

 

Mine does it. It's really noticeable with the sport button on.

 

Just have to keep the feelers out there. Check Craigslist, Autotrader.com, E-Bag, etc. In the case of mine, when Red Bull was finished with it they turned it back in to the dealer where first purchased in Texas. The dealer then took it to an auction where the dealer I purchased it from bought it. He put it on Craigslist. Now I own it. Just a little teaser, when I have it completed, I will have less than 6k in it.

Count me in as probably having one of the first R60 Absolute Countryman S ALL4 automatic. It is on "order status" at owners lounge just waiting for production and hoping first week December delivery. I am currently driving 2007 R56 PW/B MCSa which I will be trading in to get this car. My husband drives an R52 2007 Chili Red MCSa convertible.

Add me too. I thought about learning how to drive a manual, but with arthritis in my knee, I decided I didn't need a clutch. And, at my age, I just want to get in and drive I have the Steptronic, so I can manually change the gears. I haven't tried using it yet. Maybe one of these days.
