December for 2010 ordering

Just in the dealer today trying to get a Mellow Yellow 2009 but all allocations are gone according to the dealer, so I have to change my color.

But oh, by the way, if you want a 2010 with the upgraded HK system it won't be available until Dec 2009 due to "manufacturer supply" issue. You will be apparently issued a credit if you do order the premium package beforehand.

They did not have the MSRP available as of today either.

Has anyone heard differently or know of a dealer with a JCW 2009 Mellow Yellow on the lot for sale?

When I ordered my MY from Mini of Manhattan two weeks ago they had the color in stock. I visited them couple times and they always have a different loaded MY on display. Give them a call.

Strange, I just ordered mine a week ago with H/K, and wasn't told anything about this. So what is the "credit" supposed to be anyway?

Sorry for the newb question, but where did you find the selectable option for hk. Im pretty much ready to order. Just waiting on pricing last few things which I'm waiting to see on miniusa.com..... Anything faster than going to dealer?

No, things like the H/K option shows on the build sheet at the dealer when actually placing the order. When I ordered, prices were "blocked" in the system, but you could make option selections.

I had a deposit of $500 since June 1 to reserve a 2010 allocation slot as soon as they became available. Dealer called me on July 30th to tell me they had a handful of 2010 allocations. Went down on the 31st, placed the order and gave them the additional $500 for the special order.

No production number yet, I was told I'd get one "hopefully" by the 10th. And the MiniUSA site still has the 09s.
