Lifetime fills...
Lifetime fills...
Transmission fluids (possibly other components) in BMW products have "lifetime fills" that are suppose to last the lifetime of the vehicle (assuming 100k mls). This is a huge controversy with BMW's and I'm almost sure it's trickled down to MINI as well. Not changing the fluid after several tens of thousands or so miles can lead to parts failing in need of costly replacement. I know BMW does this to reduce the amount of environmental waste its products produce, but at the expense of customers who keep their cars well over 100k? What are your thoughts?
