Quality Sheepskin Vest-type covers

I wanted to share with everyone a great find that I just received.

I have had sheepskin covers on a number of cars and looked at the OEM BMW vest-type covers but was put off by the high price. I did a search and found this site http://www.sheepskinstuff.com/auto_seat_cover.html
and ordered the under-the-headrest covers for 49 bucks each plus the actual cost of shipping (about $21).

I have a gray interior and ordered the black ones. They are without a doubt the finest covers I have ever seen. they are lined/backed with material, have disk-shaped anchors that go inside the opening between the back and seat and a nicely placed short bungie and hook for the front. They flare from the width of the insert part of the back to the front of the seat (see the picture in the url). The seat back has sheared horizonal contours that provide a nice design and provide a stylish look

In addition they were great to deal with, and shipped quickly.

I would highly recommend them.

I had a full sheep skin seat cover in my new 83' VW GTi. The new 93' GTi I had came thru with Recaro's and due to side bolsters they didnt fit as well.

It was very comfortable, and easy to maintain but were fairly expensive too.

The prices on these are unbelievable. Thanks for the link C.M.

They are great--haven't flattened or lost their color or shape. I'll do pics when I get home. I would highly recommend them. There are pics on the website also, BTW.

CigarMan,
Have you found that the covers' cotton backing protects your seats underneath? I'm concerned that they might rub.

Sorry this took so long--

No sign of wear on the leather from rubbing with the cloth backing. I am extremely satisfied with these. They are particularly nice when the summer sun heats up the seats and when the seats are cold. I have seat heaters and the warmth comes through them.

Awesome. Thanks for the feedback! I just ordered some vests yesterday from SheepSkinStuff.com. The owner and his son could not have been nicer or provided better customer service. I'm excited to give them a try.
