Piloti or puma?

I just got some pilotis (for 20 bucks) and kinda feel like I can't feel my car as much through my feet. I have been using pumas for a while so maybe I am bias. Which do you prefer and why?

I have no experience with the Pumas, but I have a pair of Piloti Prototipos that my GF got me. I never really wear them, but the few times I have I thought they were pretty comfortable...

Definitely Piloti's for me... I have 2 pairs... 1 prototipo and the other is the rallye.... both are comfortable for walking but firm enough for some heel and toe action....

I have a pair of Piloti prototipo that I've been wearing for a year and a half for driving only - I keep another pair of shoes in the car to change into when I get to my destination. These are the best driving shoes, the rolled heel makes throttle control easy and the reinforced right side of the right shoe helps with the style of heel-toe I do. Plus, the sole material provides the perfect amount of grip and slip with the stock rubber pedals.

I have a pair of Pumas that I've had for a couple of months. I really like them for driving, but not for walking very much.

I just got a pair of Piloti Prototipos but haven't really had a chance to try them. I'll try to post again once I've had a chance to give them a good workout.

Great thread! I've been wondering the same thing as well. My friend has the Puma Ferrari and he said he likes how it works on his S2000. Been curious about the Piloti Prototipo's. I guess they're really good. Anyone try the Porsche shoes by adidas?

I got the Polotis because they were 20 bucks at Ross. No matter if I like them or not, that was a steal and a great purchase! I should buy a bunch at Ross and then sell them for a profit in the market place. lol.

I have an Auto so no Heel Toe for me.

I like my Pumas but I am thinking of getting the Pilottis but if you go with Pumas get them of Zappos.com Free shipping and are a little cheaper

I ordered a pair of the limited edition Piloti Sebring SE when I was at the 12 Hours of Sebring. Those are supposed to ship in the next couple weeks. If I like them I might also get a pair of leather Prototipos.

I have multiple pairs of Puma Speed Cats and Future Cats. I don't like them as much as I used to. They are fine for the track, but get uncomfortable driving after a few hours.

Announcing an arbitrage opportunity is never a good thing. No one will buy them for more than $20 now and all the business will go towards 'Ross.'

I like my Puma Future Cats. The soles are thin enough that you get the grip of a shoe, but a feeling like you're barefoot. I think it really helps being able to feel what the car is feeding back to you with your feet. Almost like you're "in tune" with car or something super cheesy like that.
