Hee hee hee... I hear Gwen Stefani in the background of the most recent incident :D

Good to see that you were watching out for the idiot. I don't know why anybody would think that is okay...

Hey--why do you think God made middle fingers?

I don't use mine very often--Texans carry guns, and besides, it isn't lady-like (snicker), but sometimes it's appropriate...

i know what you mean. i'm a native texan. although new yorkers yell a lot more, texas road rage from my experience gets more violent with guns and bats.

That was a taxi/livery cab. they tend to abide by their own set of traffic rules. Its pretty common for a yellow cab to cut 4 lanes on a very busy avenue to pick up a fare. I'm a truck driver in NYC and can't even explain half the maneuvers some of the drivers do.

I thought it was a private car. How can you tell it was a cab?

it's a typical looking gypsy cab - "a taxicab that is licensed only to respond to calls but often cruises the streets for passengers." not obvious in the video, but he had a TLC (Taxi & Limo Commision) plate.

I thought everyone knew what those look like.

But yeah, I clued in on the plate -- the format is kind of distinctive.

also in NYC, a lincoln towncar is almost used for car services exclusively. I'd go to the extent of saying 98% of lincoln towncars are cabs. If they arent then it is extremely likely they arent from the city.
