Tall people in MINIs
I'm 6' and the 2003 MINI is the big car.
The 63 mini pickup is the mid size one with no room to adjust the seat backward. Finally the 73 mini cooper is the small one and it doesn't seem crowded at all.

I am 6'3" with 3 sons taller (and thinner) than me. They all do great in my '09 MCS. One is 6'11", and he loves it. He says he is more comfortable in mine than an a Lexus RX330 he drove for a while.
I'm 6'2'' and am very comfortable in my '09 Justacooper. There's still plenty of room to move the seat back and lower it for more leg and head room if I want. And, my 6'1'' wife is comfortable in the passenger's seat.
I'm 6'4" and bald. I have plenty of room and the seat is a couple of notches from the back and I can wear a hat. That's kind of important to bald guys.
During my search I sat in a Mustang and couldn't see the street lights when I got near the intersection. Probably a bad thing.

I am 6'2" ish and drive with the seat one notch from being all the way back. I like having my seat pretty low, but I don't have to. I have about 3-4" of head room still. Minis are amazing how well they consume tall people like us!
When I was looking for a smaller car, it was difficult to find a car that would fit me. I am 6'2" and 240lbs... I tried the Miata (no head room), the S2000 (no head room), and looked at the Accura 2door - plenty of room but other problems. I love the Clubman, got plenty of headroom, and the seat position is moved up a few notches from all the way back. There is room for the golf clubs (an important feature), which the Miata and the S2000 couldn't handle!
Space allocation is great for a small car!

I'm 6'7" and have plenty of room. My ex has an MCC, and I could actually sit behind the driver's seat when she was driving (she's 5'2"ish). I wouldn't want to go cross-country that way, but running around town was fine.
I am 6'3" and used to driving classic MGB's and Triumph TR-6's. when I first went to test drive the MINI, when I got back to the shop they asked me what I thought. My first comment was jeeze this thing is huge!

How do you fit?
I'm 6'5, my son 16 is 6'3-1/2, son 14 is 5'10-1/2, wife is 5'8. We all just got back from the Dragon about 2 weeks ago. Drove our 06 S and actually were quite comfortable. It's about a 900 mile trip from home in Northern MI. This was our 2nd year in a row for this trip. Had to pack light but still had room for a pretty large cooler and also have a basslink sub in the back. I have several larger cars we could have taken but the kids insisted on the Mini! You can see us if you check out killboy dragon photos for March 30, page 10.
Norm - those are great pics. I think you should do a whole series & put out a book!

I'm 6'4" and have never had any problems except for my knees hitting the steering wheel. I do wish it tilted up a little further.
There was one time that me and 3 other friends of mine, all over 6 ft, crammed into my MINI. We were laughing a lot...

6'7", 280. Very comfortable thank you. Even head room for the helmet on autox days.
